Marta Kimberley

Marta Kimberley is a Spanish artist whose work reflects on ideas of consciousness. As part of her catalogue she uses watercolor, acrylic, spray and ink to highlight the value of what it is unseen.

Born in Valencia, Spain, she moved to Santiago of Chile with a grant to finish her degree. From Santiago to London, Ibiza and Melbourne, where her practice shifted from Art direction in advertising to painting, driven by representations of that element that connects it all.

Australia became a place of growth and home. By moving between natural and urban landscapes she explores the activation of conversations about consciousness on the streets around the world.
